Ilva begins where Ikea ends.

Australasian Business Intelligence, September, 2006

Sep 14, 2006 (Inside Retailing - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Danish furniture retailer Ilva has opened a store in London as it continues its new international expansion. Ilva has been compared to Ikea but does not sell flat-packs and emphasises customer service. It positions itself in the middle ground between Ikea and upmarket stores. Ilva has a network of outlets in Denmark but began its first store outside the country only in 2005. It aims to have 20 UK outlets by 2016.
