GE, Wachovia to sell corporate cards.

Sep 11, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A US joint venture will enter the corporate credit card market. General Electric and Wachovia Bank will sell MasterCard-branded credit cards to large and medium-sized companies. The accounts will be offered to Wachovia's business customers and will be sold, underwritten and owned by Wachovia. General Electric, which issues store-brand cards, will provide payment processing, fraud management and other back-office services. General Electric's consumer finance unit, GE Money, will replace Australasian head, Tom Gentile, with Mike Cutter.
