Buying and selling overtake sex as most common internet search.

Australasian Business Intelligence, September, 2006

Sep 07, 2006 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australia-US research released in September 2006 shows that business and electronic commerce are more popular internet search topics than sex. Sex now accounts for only 3.8 per cent of searches, compared with 17 per cent in the mid-1990s. The research was conducted by the Queensland University of Technology in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University. The findings are based on an analysis of 30 million search sessions.
