Sep 06, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Challenger Financial Services Group may list its Genesys Wealth Advisers business on the Australian sharemarket. This is one option that is believed to be under consideration for the financial planning business. Challenger's board of directors will receive a review of the group's underperforming planning division in October 2006. The planning division, which largely comprises Genesys, posted EBIT of $A7m in 2005-06, and its return on net assets for the financial year was 4.9 per cent.
