Oct 10, 2006 (BRW - ABIX via COMTEX) -- For CEOs, it is important to look beyond financial data. McKinsey states in its report, "When Social Issues Become Strategic", that the awareness of social trends is of great importance to CEOs, as it allows them to identify new business opportunities. Andrew Hagger, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, says companies are under pressure from their employees to incorporate social responsibility into the entities' business practices. Bernard Salt, partner at KPMG, believes CEOs need external assistance in dealing with social issues.
