New-look Jetstar debuts in Asia.

Oct 26, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian airline, Jetstar, will begin the first of its services to Asia on 29 October 2006. It will take over the Cairns-Darwin-Singapore route from Qantas. While the Australian business will market the service it will be operated by Singapore-based Jetstar Asia. Jetstar and Qantas will codeshare the route. Jetstar CEO, Alan Joyce, says that this marks the full integration of Jetstar services in Australia. Seat capacity on the route will increase by 10 per cent.
