Oct 29, 2006 (Weekly Tax Bulletin - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has previously issued a booklet on service arrangements. It contains the views of the Commissioner of Taxation as to service fees and when they are considered to be "commercially realistic". The Assistant Treasurer announced on 18 October 2006 that rates of specific relevance to the medical profession have been added to the booklet. The Assistant Treasurer also gave information to the House of Representatives about details of the audits and reviews of service arrangements that the ATO has conducted since 1994.
