Oct 29, 2006 (Asset - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) issued Taxation Ruling TR 2006/2 in April 2006. The ruling, along with an accompanying booklet, "Your service entity arrangements", is regarded as crucial reading for financial planners who use service entities or who have clients who use them. The booklet helps to give guidance on what sort of service arrangements are most likely to attract the attention of the ATO in the form of an audit, while TR 2006/2 re-emphasises the ATO's previously stressed view that service entity fees must be realistic.
