Coles to re-brand 13 Bi-Lo stores.

Oct 19, 2006 (Inside Retailing - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian retailer Coles Myer has previously announced plans to re-brand its Bi-Lo supermarket as Coles supermarkets. The project is expected to take around one year and is expected to cost around $A132 million. As of the middle of October 2006, eight Bi-Lo stores have been converted to Coles supermarkets and Coles Myer aims to have a further five rebranded by the end of the month. Those stores to have already been converted include outlets at Keysborough in Melbourne and Craigmore in Adelaide. According to Coles Myer, sales in the converted stores are up by over seven per cent.
