Uranium mantra catches on.

Oct 09, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Shares in Mantra Resources rose to a high of $A0.32 during its first session on the Australian Stock Exchange. The uranium explorer listed on 9 October 2006 after raising $A6.4 million to fund its projects in Tanzania. The stock opened above the $A0.20 issue price at $A0.255 and eventually closed at $A0.265, demonstrating investors' appetite for uranium stocks. Mantra was spun off from uranium miner, OmegaCorp. Its shareholders were offered Mantra stock on a one-for-six basis up to 22 million shares.
