"Stormy seas" forecast for transfer pricing.

Nov 13, 2006 (Tax Planning International Transfer Pricing - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Ernst & Young surveyed revenue authorities in 30-plus countries. The findings have been issued in "Tax Authority Interviews: Perspectives, Interpretations & Regulatory Changes", which is the third part of the consultancy's 2005-06 transfer pricing survey. Ernst & Young reports that the issue of transfer pricing is growing more complex and adversarial for multinationals. Although revenue authorities generally agree on the principles of transfer pricing, the way in which they apply these principles varies greatly. Turkey, Israel and China are among a "new wave" of countries to be conducting transfer pricing enforcement.
