Fairfax to create net titles in capitals.

Dec 13, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian newspaper publisher John Fairfax Holdings is reportedly planning to launch internet newspaper titles in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane in 2007. The first of the titles is expected to be called "The Brisbane Times" and will be operated from Sydney, although the editorial staff will be based in Brisbane. Fairfax has recruited Daniel Sankey from APN News & Media's "Queensland Times", as well as deputy editor Phil Lutton and news editor Conal Hanna. The Queensland market is currently dominated by "The Courier-Mail", which is published by News Limited.
