Dec 05, 2006 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The ANZ Bank has released a prepaid Visa card that works like a gift voucher. The Visa Gift Card looks like a regular credit card and can be primed with up to $A1,000. The givers do not even have to be ANZ customers, but the recipients must be old enough to sign their name. A variety of designs is available, however, there is no security on the cards once they have been activated and they must be used within 12 months. The cards can be used anywhere Visa is accepted electronically, from shops to internet merchants. The cards can be bought from selected ANZ branches or the ANZ website.
