Dec 05, 2006 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Allstate Explorations' administrators are seeking to have a decision to permit public examinations of their conduct overturned in the Federal Court of Australia. Michael Pembroke, counsel for administrators Michael Ryan and Tony Woodings, argued the public examinations would deprive the administrators of natural justice, because they would be unable to present their own evidence or call their own witnesses. Ryan's and Woodings's application was supported by Macquarie Bank, the Bank of Western Australia, Garry Trevor of Ferrier Hodgson & Company, and manager of the Beaconsfield gold mine in Tasmania, Matthew Gill.
