Dec 04, 2006 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- New South Wales-based Byron Bay Cookie Company is expanding its product range and its global reach. The company was founded by Gary Lines and Maggi Miles in the early 1990s. It now boasts annual turnover of around $A14m and exports to 11 countries. It also plans to move into the US market in 2007. Australian groups that stock its products include David Jones. Lines and Miles have surrendered day-to-day management of the business to its GM, Richard Raffaelli, allowing them to undertake university studies in Adelaide.
