Jan 07, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Bovis Lend Lease is seeking additional funds for the decontamination of a site near New York's World Trade Center. The demolition of the Deutsche Bank site has generated additional unforeseen expenses and Bovis is continuing negotiations for an additional $US30 million. In mid-December 2006, some workers of one of its contractors, John Galt Corporation, refused to work and the clients, the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, took this as a walkout. A Bovis spokesperson believes that the dispute can be successfully resolved.
