Jan 04, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- There are concerns that Australia's listed property trust (LPT) sector has become overly expensive in 2006. In early January 2007 LPTs declined as fund managers of property securities sold stock for investor distributions. Nevertheless, LPTs are well-positioned with the benchmark LPT 200 index closing 7.2 per cent higher in December 2006, according to Merrill Lynch.
