Feb 15, 2007 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A councillor in the Victorian city of Geelong has been fined $A1,000 for not disclosing a $A14,000 political donation from a developer. David Saunderson, from the Greater Geelong City Council, was found guilty on 15 February 2007 of taking money from Geelong developer Lascorp. It was used to pay printing costs for promotional material used in the 2004 local government elections.
