Feb 19, 2007 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Discussions are continuing between the Australian wine group Evans & Tate (E&T) and Yarraman Winery. However, the uncertainty about funding continued on 19 February 2007 since Yarraman declined the request to open its books and also declined to explain its late filing of quarterly results with the US Securities & Exchange Commission in the week ending 16 February 2007. E&T released a statement to shareholders, and ASX Limited, on 19 February about the need for due diligence to properly appraise the $A110 million required for the merger and settlement of its debts with the ANZ Bank.
