AIDS worse than 9/11: Kirby.

Feb 20, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- An Australian High Court judge has questioned the level of danger posed by terrorism. Justice Michael Kirby says the US is obsessed with the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 11 September 2001. Around 2,900 people including 10 Australians died in the attack, but Kirby says more people die every day from AIDS. He was speaking during an appeal by "Jihad" Jack Thomas against a control order. Thomas is awaiting trial on charges of allegedly accepting funds from Al Qaeda and falsifying a passport. The hearing, which is focusing on the definition of a terrorist, continues.
