Quadrant Private Equity storms Tower Software.
Australasian Business Intelligence, February, 2007
Byline: Julian Bajkowski
Feb 20, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Canberra-based IT company, Tower Software, is now controlled by Quadrant Private Equity. Control of the privately-held content management systems developer was being disputed by its senior management and Pendant Properties, its seed investors. Plans for a sharemarket float were ended by Quadrant taking a 63 per cent stake in the company. Tower has reduced its financial risk by focusing on the government and military software market. It is an attractive acquisition as it has a solid base of customers and its strong growth is expected to continue.
