Bid to stop graduate poaching.

Feb 26, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Fewer IT students and greater competition from other sectors has caused the Australian Computer Society to redouble its graduate efforts. In February 2007, universities are seeing increased attendances at career fairs as labour shortages bite. It is a challenge for career advisers to maintain their information on IT career opportunities as those opportunities are changing all the time, and for them to enthuse students into an IT pathway. The IT labour shortage provides greater opportunities for those already studying.
