Feb 22, 2007 (BRW - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Fairfax Digital has been ranked as Australia's third biggest digital media company by the "BRW" magazine. Fairfax Digital, owned by Fairfax Media, had online advertising revenue of $A115 million in 2005-06, revenue growth of 77 per cent, and market share of 11 per cent. The company runs more than 30 websites, including smh.com.au and theage.com.au. Jack Matthews, the CEO of the division, says competition in the digital media sector is "damn competitive".
