Men's mags continue to plateau.

Australasian Business Intelligence, February, 2007

Byline: Sally Robertson

Feb 22, 2007 (B&T Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Circulation of a number of the major men's magazines declined the latest Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) measurement period. "Ralph", "HRM" and "People" all recorded falls for the six months to December 2006, while the circulation of "Alpha" tumbled by 23.34 per cent. Jackie Beck, of Initiative, suggests that some of the decline in figures for the men's category could be attributed to the recent changes to the way that the ABC measures circulation. Circulation for the overall men's magazine category rose by 7.2 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
