Middle managers disillusioned.
Australasian Business Intelligence, March, 2007
Mar 12, 2007 (Human Resources - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Only 42 per cent of Australian middle managers are satisfied with their current job, an Accenture survey has found. Almost one third are actively looking for another. MD of human performance at Accenture, Peter Cheese, said middle managers needed to know executives understood their concerns, communicated directly and provided career progression. He said these managers were vital to organisations because most employees related through them and any dissatisfaction was quickly transferred down the line.
