Mar 07, 2007 (The West Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- New data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics indicate that 45 per cent of the Australian workforce is comprised of women. However, according to the latest Grant Thornton International Business Report, fewer Australian businesses are appointing women as senior managers and approximately one-third do not have any senior female managers.
