Australasian Business Intelligence, March, 2007

Byline: Amanda Meade

Mar 05, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian TV viewers favoured crime on 4 March 2007, to make the Nine Network the ratings winner. Nine gained a 34.8 per cent share of viewers in the five mainland capital cities. Ten Network's share fell to 14.9 per cent, with poor audiences for its weight-loss reality show and a climate change special. The ABC only attracted 496,000 viewers to a Kylie Minogue concert. Seven increased its audience share from 32.1 per cent to 32.2 per cent, but lost first place to Nine. Seven has won the first three weeks of official ratings with a market share of 29.9 per cent, followed by Nine with 27.5 per cent.
