This sphere of communication encompasses blogging, chatting, tagging and YouTubing. Marketers are advised to pay more attention to social networking which can be compared to a free and continuous focus group. Andy Wright, of branding consultancy Landor Associates, says sites such as MySpace, YouTube and Bebo allow everyone to express his/her opinion about a particular brand.
