Predecessor an issue for Schwartz.
Australasian Business Intelligence, March, 2007

Mar 13, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A gathering of concerned staff of Macquarie University has heard from new vice-chancellor Steven Schwartz. The New South Wales tertiary education institution had made negative headlines in early 2007 due to a dispute between Schwartz and his predecessor, Di Yerbury. At issue were alleged deficient record-keeping and doubts about whether artworks kept by Yerbury at home were hers or in fact the university's. Yerbury has pointed out that no settlement has been offered to her or accepted by her, contrary to some reports. Schwartz denies the affair has significantly damaged Macquarie's reputation.
