Mar 26, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- On 27 March 2007, the Bendigo Bank will wrap up the latest instalment of its annual two-day planning session. The discussions have so far been dominated by the takeover bid extended by the Bank of Queensland. Bendigo Bank has appointed investment banks, Goldman Sachs JBWere and Grant Samuel, to act as advisers, as well as law firm, Allens Arthur Robinson. In April, the Bank of Queensland is scheduled to post its interim profit results. The group is expected to announce full-year earnings growth of between 10 per cent and 12 per cent.
