Australasian Business Intelligence, March, 2007

Mar 15, 2007 (Benchmarking HR - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Finding enough skilled staff is the biggest concern for Australian CEOs in 2007, according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) survey. The company's "Global CEO Survey" found that 84 per cent of Australian CEOs gave finding talent as their greatest concern. A lack of key skills was cited as a concern by 72 per cent of all CEOs, but over-regulation was the overall greatest concern for CEOs globally. On the question of whether they expected their revenue to grow in 2007, 60 per cent of Australian CEOs said they were "very confident", as were 60 per cent of Chinese CEOs.
