Mar 29, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Sonic Healthcare will retain a large contract for diagnostic services in New Zealand for at least 18 months. This follows a decision in that nation's High Court in the week beginning 26 March 2007, which invalidated the appointment of Healthscope as Auckland's only pathology provider.
