Apr 09, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Macquarie Communications Infrastructure Group (MCIG) is believed to be close to buying Great Britain's secure digital radio network, O2 Airwave. Current owner Telefonica, of Spain, is selling O2 for up to Stg2bn.
