Village taps the music business.

Apr 03, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian cinema and film company, Village Roadshow, has branched into the music business. It has established a music division, based in the US, for the publishing of soundtracks from its films. Village Roadshow Music Group will be led by Burt Berman, former president of the music division of Paramount Pictures. Village MD, Graham Burke, is not concerned that music album sales are declining. He said that the new division will allow cross-promotions with Village's film business.
