They need a continuous flow of this information, to aid effective decision-making. Gartner Group has noted that every company has a data problem. The internet is now a great source of clean, uncorrupted, accurate data. Business intelligence (BI) must be constant, accurate and uninterrupted. This is why products such as Dow Jones's Factiva suite are so important. Factiva makes use of text and visualisation to extract meaning from "clean data".
