Battle over WA lignite coalfield.
Australasian Business Intelligence, April, 2007

Apr 25, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- It is believed that Blackham Resources and Wesfarmers will enter court proceedings in early May 2007. Under the Western Australian (WA) Mining Act, Blackham has accused Wesfarmers of failing to meet minimal expenditure conditions for the disputed lignite tenements at Scaddan during a 27-year tenure. The dispute between Blackham and Wesfarmers is considered reminiscent of the Rio Tinto and Cazaly fight for Shovelanna, which has continued to the Court of Appeal (WA) since the WA Government's April 2006 decision in favour of Rio.
