Apr 18, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Melbourne-based property developer, Westwater Property Group, appears to be close to failure. It is reported that its major financier, National Australia Bank, has requested the appointment of an administrator. Another source said that a creditor for one of Westwater's main project is also about to appoint a receiver. It is reported that the business closed its premises before Easter in April 2007. It has not responded to requests for information. The company offered investors a 10-year rental guarantee of five per cent a year.
