Apr 22, 2007 (Herald Sun - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Victoria's Liquor Control Advisory Council is considering amending legislation to stop adults serving liquor to minors at home. The law change is recommended by the Australian Drug Foundation, which says it has dealt with hundreds of complaints by parents that their children had been drinking at private parties. The proposal will be for parents to be present and consenting when their children are offered liquor, or that a minor must present written permission from a guardian.
