Frigate fit-out contract to deliver efficiencies.
Australasian Business Intelligence, May, 2007
Byline: Christopher Jay
May 03, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A maintenance contract for Australian Defence Force frigates has been signed with Tenix Defence and Saab Systems. The signing in late April 2007 is intended to establish a strong and long relationship between all the parties. The contract will keep the frigates with contemporary equipment and have work undertaken with a minimal turnaround. The improvement in project management software allows contractors and the Defence Materiel Organisation to better co-ordinate efforts and understand timelines and worktask complexities.
