May 07, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Frank Woods has some advice for those stuck in an unenjoyable corporate environment and thinking of starting their own business. The former GM of software company Solution 6 says they should decide to leave before someone else makes the decision for them. Woods lost his $A350,000-a-year job in 2000 as the company struggled to survive during the "dotcom" bust. Woods and a former colleague, Brian Beattie, bought Sydney-based sales training company ATS Training Systems because they liked the sessions they had been to. Woods says the pay is a lot less but so is the stress. He is physically and emotionally healthier.
