IBA eyes UK market with iSOFT deal.
Australasian Business Intelligence, May, 2007

May 07, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- IBA Health suspended its stock from trade on 7 May 2007 in an attempt to raise $A515 million to buy iSOFT. The suspension is so the Australian group can meet with institutional investors. The merger would create the fourth-largest health IT company and allow IBA access to the iSOFT project of upgrading the IT systems of Great Britain's National Health Service (NHS). Analysts have great concerns over the NHS contract and its implementation, but the merger could be the most important development in IBA Health's corporate history.
