May 29, 2007 (AFR Smart Investor - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Shares in ASG, Melbourne IT and Oakton have risen by an average of over 160 per cent in the last two years. The three medium capitalisation IT stocks are worth watching. Oakton has a reputation as a supplier of high-end solutions. Analysts expect the firm to generate profit growth of over 25 per cent in 2007-08. Melbourne IT is the biggest domain registrar in Australia and has also diversified into activities such as web hosting. Some 60 per cent of its revenue is earned overseas. Perth's ASQ gets roughly 60 per cent of its income from government clients and boasts private sector clients such as Axa and Qantas.
