Steelmaker may be a target, says Adams.

Australasian Business Intelligence, May, 2007

May 15, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- BlueScope Steel CEO Kirby Adams believes that Australian steel producers may need to merge in order to compete with bigger international rivals. Adams will stand down in October 2007, and his successor is likely to be announced in August.
