Janus Capital launches in Australia.

May 30, 2007 (Investor Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Janus Capital, the US-based fund manager, has opened an office in Australia and recruited John Landua, formerly of the Bank of Ireland. Janus initially plans to market three funds developed by its subsidiary Enhanced Investment Technologies (EIT). EIT uses a mathematical formula that was developed by an academic from Princeton University in the 1980s, and has the potential to deliver returns of up to four per cent above the index. EIT currently has $US65 billion under management around the world.
