Big road test for Microsoft Vista system.

May 29, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system will soon be trialled by the Australian Customs Service and by listed company, iiNet. The Custom Service has approximately 200 staff trialling the system at its offices in Canberra and Hobart. Vista is scheduled to be installed across 5,500 of the agency's desktop computers nationwide in coming weeks. Meanwhile, iiNet is preparing to upgrade 700 personal computers to Vista and to the new productivity suite from Microsoft. It also intends to adopt Microsoft's Exchange and SharePoint 2007 products.
