May 28, 2007 (Money Management - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The recently launched Hindal Australian Rare Coin & Banknote Fund requires a minimum investment of $A50,000. It will specialise in the acquisition of Australian coins and banknotes that were issued prior to Australia's conversion to decimal currency in 1966. Julian Reznik, of Hindal Securities, says that numismatic specialist Jaggards will be tasked with buying and selling coins and notes for the fund. He says that coins and banknotes are a very well-performed asset class, having returned 15 per cent over the last 10 years.
