Jun 04, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Special volume licences offered by Microsoft mean that some companies have purchased the latest software in order to run previous versions. The aim is for companies to gradually ease into using the latest software in line with their corporate IT upgrade timetable. One corporate IT analyst says that few major companies are upgrading to Vista but that Office 2007 is gaining in popularity. It may also be possible that sales of software do not reflect the use of the software in companies.
