Jun 06, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Orica has reportedly made an EUR900 million takeover offer for German mining services company, Dywidag-Systems International (DSI). The Australian-listed explosives company confirmed its interest in DSI three weeks ago. It is anticipated that Orica will compete for DSI with up to 12 other financial and strategic players. DSI, which is being sold by Industri Kapital, is considered a "good fit" with Orica's Minova asset. The sale process should be concluded by mid-July 2007.
