Jun 06, 2007 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A complex legal case involving Lewis "Scooter" Libby in the US has been completed. The White House insider was jailed for two and half years. He had been chief of staff to US Vice-President Dick Cheney. The case began when US President, George W Bush, said that the US should go to war in Iraq because Saddam Hussein had sought uranium from Africa. This statement was not true and the lack of truth was pointed out by Joe Wilson. After that, there was a leak to the press that Wilson's wife, Valerie Plame, was a CIA agent.
