New MTV Channel merges web TV & mobile.

Jun 06, 2007 (Mediaweek - ABIX via COMTEX) -- MTV launched a new music channel on Optus pay-TV in Australia in April 2007. The Music Factory (TMF) has been showing internationally since 2002. It is aimed at the 12-29 age group. TMF has an accompanying website and web application that enables users to create features for use in the show. There are also plans for people to be able to submit content via mobile telephones and to simulcast broadcasts onto the mobile platform.
